বাংলাদেশ পুলিশ বাহিনীর সব সদস্য ও তাদের পরিবারের জন্য অভ্যন্তরীণ রুটের টিকিটে ১০ শতাংশ মূল্যছাড় দিচ্ছে বেসরকারি সংস্থা ইউএস-বাংলা এয়ারলাইনস। বৃহস্পতিবার (১০ সেপ্টেম্বর) থেকে পরবর্তী ঘোষণা না দেওয়া পর্যন্ত এই সুযোগ থাকবে।
পুলিশ সদস্যদের বিভাগীয় পরিচয়পত্র প্রদর্শন সাপেক্ষে ইউএস-বাংলা এয়ারলাইনসের সেলস কাউন্টার থেকে পরিবারের চারজনের (স্বামী-স্ত্রী ও ছেলেমেয়ে) জন্য টিকিট সংগ্রহ করা যাবে। টিকিট সংক্রান্ত অন্যান্য সব নিয়ম অপরিবর্তিত থাকবে।
ইউএস-বাংলা এয়ারলাইনসের মহাব্যবস্থাপক (জনসংযোগ) মো. কামরুল ইসলাম বলেন, ‘করোনাভাইরাস মহামারিতে পুলিশ বাহিনীর সদস্যরা সামনের সারিতে অবদান রেখেছেন। তাই তাদের জন্য বিশেষ ছাড় দিচ্ছি আমরা।’
