হাবের হস্তক্ষেপে থমকেপড়া ওমরাহ ভিসা চালু
হাব কর্তৃপক্ষের সময়োপযোগী উদ্যোগের দরুণ অবশেষে থমকেপড়া সহসাধিক ওমরাযাত্রীর ভিসা ইস্যু করতে সম্মত হয়েছে ঢাকাস্থ সউদী দূতাবাসের ভারপ্রাপ্ত রাষ্টদূত। গতকাল মঙ্গলবার দুপুরে সউদী দূতাবাসের ভারপ্রাপ্ত রাষ্ট্রদূত হারকান সুয়াইয়া সাথে হাবের সভাপতি এম শাহাদাত হোসাইন তসলিমের দ্বি-পাক্ষিক বৈঠকে থমকেপড়া ওমরাহ ভিসা ইস্যু করতে সম্মত হন রাষ্ট্রদূত। রাষ্ট্রদূত হাবের অনুরোধে গতকালই তাৎক্ষণিকভাবে তিনটি ওমরাহ এজেন্সির ৮০টি ওমরাহ ভিসা সরবরাহ করার নির্দেশ দেন। বিকেলেই এসব ভিসা হাতে পেয়ে ওমরাযাত্রীরা মহান আল্লাহপাকের কাছে শোকরিয়া আদায় করেন।
সউদী হজ ও ওমরাহ মন্ত্রণালয়ের সংশ্লিষ্ট অধিদপ্তরে অনলাইনে ওমরাহ এজেন্সির সকল কাগজপত্র প্রেরণ করে গত ২০ ফেব্রুয়ারির মধ্যে নিবন্ধন কার্যক্রম সম্পন্ন করার দিনক্ষণ নির্ধারণ করে দেয়া হয়েছিল। কিন্ত শতাধিক ওমরাহ এজেন্সি উল্লেখিত সময়ের মধ্যে সউদী ওমরাহ মন্ত্রণালয়ে নিবন্ধন কার্যক্রম সম্পন্ন করতে পারেনি। এতে তাদের সহস্রাধিক ওমরাযাত্রীর মোফা প্রিন্ট হলেও ওমরাহ ভিসার কপি প্রিন্ট করা সম্ভব হয়নি। ওমরাহ ভিসা বন্ধ হয়ে যাওয়ায় বিভিন্ন এজেন্সির ওমরাযাত্রীরা ওমরাহ পালনের জন্য বিমানের টিকিট ক্রয় করেও সউদী আরবে যেতে পারেনি। ওমরাহ এজেন্সিগুলো ঢাকাস্থ সউদী দূতাবাসে দু’দিন ধরে ভিড় করেও ওমরাহ ভিসা ইস্যু করাতে পারেনি। ফলে নগরীর বিভিন্ন হোটেলে ও আত্মীয় স্বজনের বাসা বাড়ীতে ওমরাহ গমনেচ্ছু ব্যক্তিরা আশ্রয় নেন। এতে বেশ কিছু ফ্লাইটে ওমরাযাত্রীর কনফার্ম টিকিট বাতিল হওয়ায় এজেন্সিগুলো আর্থিকভাবে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়।
রাতে হাবের সভাপতি শাহাদাত হোসাইন তসলিম ইনকিলাবকে বলেন, সউদী সরকারের ই-হজ সিস্টেমে ওমরাহ এজেন্সিগুলোকে অনলাইনের মাধ্যমে নিবন্ধন কার্যক্রম সম্পন্ন করতে হয়। অসতর্কতার দরুণ শতাধিক ওমরাহ এজেন্সি নিবন্ধন কার্যক্রম সম্পন্ন করতে পারেনি। এতে ওমরাহ ভিসা না পাওয়ায় যাত্রীরা সউদী যেতে পারছেন না। এ বিষয়টি নিয়ে সউদী ভারপ্রাপ্ত রাষ্ট্রদূতের সাথে সৌহার্দ্যপূর্ণ বৈঠকে ওমরাহ ভিসা সঙ্কট নিরসন হয়েছে। হাব সভাপতি বলেন, আটকেপড়া সকল ওমরাযাত্রীদের ভিসা আজ বুধবার থেকে ইস্যু করবে সউদী দূতাবাস কর্তৃপক্ষ। তিনি ওমরাহ ভিসা সঙ্কট তাৎক্ষণিকভাবে নিরসনের উদ্যোগ নেয়ায় সউদী রাষ্ট্রদূতকে আন্তরিক মোবারকবাদ জানান।
